Florianópolis and Rio de Janeiro -
Day 01 – Florianópolis
After arrival, transfer to your hotel, Rest
of the day at leisure.
Day
02 – Historic tour and Santo Antônio de Lisboa
After breakfast you will head for the city
Center to visit the cathedral square and Praça XV de
Novembro. The terraced buildings around Praça XV are
examples of a variety of different periods and styles;
there are one and two-story colonial houses in both the
neoclassic and neo-baroque modes. To the west of the
square are the ancient Alfândega (Customs House) and the
Mercado Público (Public Market). There are stalls nearby
where the typical local earthenware pottery can be
admired and bought. The Public Market is the heart of
the historic center where artists, intellectuals and
assorted bohemians congregate. Next is Santo Antônio de
Lisboa, one of the oldest villages on the Island. This
quaint little settlement, which enjoys official
protected status because of its outstanding cultural
importance, is a treasure-trove, preserving the
traditions of a fishing village community amongst
centuries-old buildings and a cobbled main street built
from rough-hewn stone in the days of slavery. The star
attractions here are the church of Nossa Senhora das
Necessidades, considered one of the most charming on the
island and the two-hundred-year-old Casa Açoriana; now a
museum and art gallery. At Santo Antonio de Lisboa you
can see an Oyster Farm, buy some gifts and appreciate
the local culinary. Enjoy the rest of the day at your
hotel. (B)
Day 03 – Free Day
Spend
the day relaxing at your hotel or take an optional tour
to Balneário Camboriú. (B)
Day 04
– Depart for Rio de Janeiro
Check out in the
morning and depart for Rio de Janeiro. Arrival in Rio
and transfer to your hotel.
After lunch, the tour
begins at the Cosme Velho station. Catch the cog train
for a journey through the dense Atlantic Rain Forest of
Tijuca to the Christ Statue on Corcovado mountain. Enjoy
the stunning views of Rio from the top. Rest of the day
at leisure. In the evening, take an optional tour:
dinner show with carnival-samba dancers. (instead of
Corcovado and the Tijuca Forest, you can take a City
Tour, visiting also the Sugar Loaf mountain. Talk your
agent.). (B)
Day 05 – Free Day
Relax at your hotel or take an optional
tour: City Tour, visiting the Sugar Loaf mountain. (B)
Day 06 – Depart home
Morning free at your hotel . After lunch, transfer
to the airport for your flight home.

Balneário
Camboriú & Unipraias Park
Only
one hour from Florianópolis is one of the biggest
investments in tourism and ecology infrastructure in
Brazil: Parque Unipraias Camboriú. The Park Cableway has
three stations, 47 cars with capacity for 6 passengers
each and gliding over more than 2 miles of lush green
and emerald blue sceneries. The cableway experience
starts at Laranjeiras Station going on to Mata Atlântica
Station, at the height of Morro da Aguada, which offers
one of the best views of the region, it is here also
that besides the ecological trekking, visitors may also
try tree-top-walking at the Adventure Park. The third
and last station is Barra Sul in Balneário Camboriú's
central beach. After visiting the Park panoramic tour
through the four and a half miles of beaches in Camboriú
them stop for lunch. Free afternoon to enjoy the beach
or shopping.

Rio
by night: Barbecue and Samba Show
At
nightfall, enjoy “Rio by night with dinner”. Besides

the pervasive and effervescent rhythm of Samba will
surely take your spirit by storm. It was inside these
carioca joints that the most beautiful songs were
written, to the beat of forks and glasses or "batucadas
" on match boxes. Before the show, you may delight
yourself with a sumptuous dinner at a typical Barbecue
House.

Rio
de Janeiro: Half Day Sugar Loaf
The
sugar Loaf is a green, unearthly peak rising over the
marvelous city of Rio de Janeiro. Experience an iconic
locale for a bird's eye view from Copacabana beach to
Corcovado Mountain, as well as an equatorial Rio de
Janeiro sunset. The panoramic trip to Pão d'Açucar, or
Sugarloaf, the soaring 1,300-ft granite block standing
at the mouth of Guanabara Bay, is not to be missed.
Italian-made bubble cars holding 75 passengers each move
up the mountain in two stages, the first stopping at the
Morro da Urca, a smaller mountain in front of Sugarloaf,
and the second continuing on to the summit, each stage
taking three minutes.
