Departures
1st DAY U.S to MANAUS,
BRAZIL
Depart from the U.S. for your
overnight flight to Manaus, in the Amazon. In-flight
meals will be served. Overnight en-route.
2nd DAY - MANAUS
Arrive in Manaus and transfer to your
hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy an orientation tour
of Manaus the Amazon city of "Rubber Barons,"
sightseeing includes the unique Indian Museum, the city
market, so Parisian and Art Nouveau, that it was made in
France and assembled on site. And no visit to Manaus
could be complete without a tour of the magnificent
eclectic 19th opera house – an outpost of culture in the
middle of the jungle.
3rd DAY - AMAZON RIVER CRUISE

Today we start the Amazon 2 nights
river cruise journey. We will depart Hotel Tropical
early afternoon, and we will sail the Solimoes Rivers
looking for the local “caboclos” and enjoy their way of
life, walk through the forest, fish for piranhas. As we
sail, we will have a presentation on board of staff,
route and facilities and you will enjoy your welcome
drink. Navigation past Manaus to the Xiborena region.
Canoe trip in smaller creeks to see life on the flood
plains: jute, market-garden produce, rubber trees, as
well as flood plain forest and lakes with giant water
lilies (can be seen in season). This trip returns after
sunset, so that we can observe night life, including
caimans. Navigations up the Amazon (the upper part of it
called Solimões by the natives) to lake Janauaca. Dinner
on the way. (B/L/D)
4th DAY - AMAZON RIVER CRUISE

Continue the Amazon river cruise
journey. Early morning we will enjoy a canoe trip for
bird watching. There are good chances of seeing Hoatzins
and large flocks of Egrets and Cirmorants. After
breakfast on board we will visit with the inhabitants of
the lake who live from manioc plantations, fishing,
diverse fruit trees, rubber, Brazil nut trees, wood and
other extractive products. Walk in the forest with
commentaries by the specialist. After lunch we will
continue sailing; and later we will fish for piranhas
and other types of fish. After dinner, we will have a
night trip to see nocturial animals, sometimes including
night-hawk, snakes, toro-rats, sloths and frogs.

5th DAY - MANAUS
A fascinating trip to the “Meeting of
the Waters”, where the Rio Negro’s clear dark waters
meet the murky waters of the Amazonas and flow side by
side without mixing for several miles.
Bird-watching and navigating along the
"Meeting of the waters" and then back to Manaus with
views of the floating ducks, markets and unique
architecture. Disembark and check-in at Hotel
Tropical. Balance of the day at leisure. (B)
6th DAY - ARIAU
JUNGLE
Ariau Amazon Towers is the only hotel
complex at tree top le vel in the
Amazon Rainforest.
We have selected the SOLAR or ESTELAR
SUITES for this adventure. Get familiar with the jungle
life in the Amazon, along with treks, canoes
rides,native’s piranhas and a fabulous world.

7th DAY - MANAUS
Sail to Manaus for overnight in your
